LeSean McCoy’s Uncle Jimmy Proposes Before Softball Game
Before the start of LeSean McCoy’s first-ever celebrity softball game in Pennsylvania, which raised over $100,000 for his foundation and for ALS, his uncle Jimmy threw out the first pitch. He told Class Act Sports that he was going to propose to her, and we got the whole thing on film.
“I’ve had this lovely lady in my life for about ten years and my mom loves her to death so it’s only fitting that I do this in front of this big crowd. Uncle Jimmy likes the lights so, it’s gonna go down,” he said in the dugout prior to the game.
After throwing out the first pitch, Uncle Jimmy presented the ball to his girlfriend, Tayna. The ball read, “Tanya, Will you marry me? –Jimmy”. Of course, she said yes.
McCoy started his Foundation in 2010 in honor of his grandmother who died of ALS. He also has an annual Turkey Drive, “Shady’s Shootout” and “Kisses for Kyle”, all ways in which McCoy gives back to the community.
