NFL Alumni’s New York Chapter Hosts Celebrity Golf Classic
Celebrities and former NFL stars gathered at the Hackensack Golf Club in Oradell, New Jersey on October 11 for the NFL Alumni’s Celebrity Golf Classic to benefit youth-oriented charitable causes. Former New York Jet defensive back Victor Green and Jared Ginsberg of ClassActSports.com visited the vibrant course on a gorgeous fall day to provide exclusive coverage for the exciting event.
Green was playing two roles throughout the day’s action, both competing in the event as an NFL Alumni and working with Ginsberg to document the tournament.
“We’re gonna see a lot of [Bill] Parcells, and George Martin, and Adrian Murrell, Kwamie Lassiter, Carl Banks, a lot of Giants, Jets greats will be here today,” said Green.
The Super Bowl champion coach was just one of the many extending their support and gratitude for Executive Director George Martin and the organization, stating,
“The NFL Alumni are a good group, and they need attention, and they need support, and I’m certainly going to be a part of that if I can.” said Parcells.
In addition to Parcells and Martin, The Class Act Sports crew caught up with a host of participants, such as NFL Hall of Famer Harry Carson and legendary WWE wrestling personality Sergeant Slaughter. Other players included Mark Bavaro, O.J. Anderson, Adrian Murrell, Dermontti Dawson, Tom Nowatzke and many more.
