Patriots Quarterback Tom Brady Exclusive Post Game Interview w/ Class Act Sports
AFC East foes clashed again on November 13, as the New England Patriots and New York Jets renewed their rivalry on primetime television at Metlife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. With first place in the division on the line, Tom Brady and company responded in familiar fashion, overpowering the hometown Jets during a 37-16 victory. Jared Ginsberg and Victor Green of Class Act Sports were in the Patriot’s locker room following the contest to speak with quarterback Tom Brady.
With New England facing their first three-game losing streak since 2002, the All-Pro quarterback stepped up his game, going 26 of 39 for 329 yards with 3 touchdown throws and no interceptions.
“We lost two straight and then we come down to here, where it’s always a tough place to play. To see the fans leaving the stadium with 10 minutes left in the game was pretty cool,” said Brady.
While analysts were beginning to predict that coaching staffs around the league were developing an effective formula to take down the mighty Patriots, they showcased exactly how dangerous they can be when playing efficient, mistake-free football.
“We had to not turn the ball over, be good in third down, get the ball in the red area, and all those things…if we do them on a consistent basis, we’re tough to beat,” he said.
Now sitting at 6-3 atop the AFC East, New England appears poised to roar right into the postseason, especially when considering the remaining games in their schedule. Still, the two-time Super Bowl MVP isn’t looking past their next opponent.
“We got a lot of football left, so this was one small step, and we got a bunch of big ones to go. Every game gets bigger as we go.”
After sweeping the regular season series against the Jets, as well as beating the Chargers and Raiders, the Patriots are in great position moving forward. The second half of their season includes games with Kansas City, Indianapolis, Denver, Miami, and Buffalo.
